How old are you?  What is your athletic or fitness background?

49 years young.  I was always extremely active growing up with horses, motorcycles and anything outdoors. Played volleyball and basketball grade school thru some of high school. Even on the cheer squad 1 year.

How do you enjoy your fitness outside of CrossFit? 

I love being outdoors so walking or hiking are the go to.


How many days/week do you CrossFit and what is your normal class time?

4-5 times a week. Love my 9am peeps !



Do you have a favorite and least favorite CrossFit movement?

I love a clean complex!

Least favorite is Running. You know that saying if you see me running you better run cause something is chasing me. Well let's just say I relate!

When did you first hear about CrossFIt and what was you first experience like?

Honestly not sure when I 1st heard of crossfit?? My 1st experience was awesome it was my consultation here with Scott Reynolds ! I was so nervous I had my husband come with me lol 


What is your favorite thing about CrossFit Cameron Park?  

Absolutely without a doubt the people. Starts with the owners Scott and Megan Reynolds and pours down through every coach and every member. 

Don't get me wrong the workouts are amazing! The fitness knowledge I've gained  and the results I see in my body are amazing but the people are the best!



You had a knee injury and surgery can you tell us about that experience? 

I tore my ACL in a Spartan Race jumping off a wall. The terrain was bad, my right knee just went right and I went down. Finished, ran 1 more, then surgery. I believe if not for crossfit the injury would of been worse as well as recovery.


You kept coming to the gym throughout your recovery and physical therapy, do you think that helped?
Without a doubt. Not just for surgery recovery but mentally.


Has CrossFIt changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness?

More than anything I have ever done! I have chronic illnesses that almost put me in the grave 5 years ago. Treatment wasn't much better and put a lot of weight on me.  I am more fit now thanks to crossfit than I have ever been in my life. My eating is the cleanest its ever been and I look forward to dialing that in even more.  I just feel good!  

Any advice for someone thinking about doing CrossFIt or someone who is just starting?

Come join us. It will change your life. If your just starting welcome to the crossfit family. You won't be disappointed!
